Gula Bali is a Balinese concept restaurant that became a full-time restaurant in 2009, featuring local cuisine in fresh and professional presentations at very reasonable price for both locals and international travelers. Gula Bali is trying to re-introduce Balinese cuisine, beyond the mis-interpretation and cliche by generic travel publications and (sometimes very fee-oriented) 'tour guides', while having a go at international cuisines, enriched with Balinese point of views, a bit of Swiss passion for perfection, and considerations on healthier lifestyle. Owned by a Balinese family that spend most of their time searching for new versions of 'classic', Gula Bali is continuously improved as better ideas came along and budget allows (currently at version 3.0)
